Opening with a 914, a bold move? Maybe, but it is so perfect

This past Sunday, I joined fellow Oppos Jobjoris and DutchieDC2R at the PUUR Porsche Treffen, for a sort of mini Oppomeet, and to admire Porsches of all kinds and shapes, of course.

Below you can find a small selection of my favourite shots of the day, along with a link to a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with the rest of my pictures, which are a mix of edited and unedited shots.

Kinja'd!!!

993 Turbo? Give to me please!

Kinja'd!!!

A 944 based Heynsdyk, sadly this one was an automatic.

Kinja'd!!!

Dark blue over tan leather, such a pretty colour combo for a Targa!

Kinja'd!!!

Outlaw!?

Kinja'd!!!

1959 356A with a Reutter body

Kinja'd!!!

Backdating is a thing now apparently, as shown by this ‘85 SC

Kinja'd!!!

As well as by this ‘79 SC

Kinja'd!!!

Do we know this car?

Kinja'd!!!

“Aus Prinzip, nicht aus Presitige”...

Kinja'd!!!

More 914's

Kinja'd!!!

Even more 914's

Kinja'd!!!

That colour.....

Kinja'd!!!

GT3 RS or GT2?

Kinja'd!!!

Yellow suits a new Turbo quite well, it does need some Pikachu ears, right?

Kinja'd!!!

Great-great-grandpa and his great-great-grandsons

Kinja'd!!!

Because of the 911 GT3 RS colour, I didn’t notice this was a 911R, until seeing that the badge was a sticker and that it didn’t have a wing.

Kinja'd!!!

All the lights!!

Kinja'd!!!

Wing appreciation zone.

Kinja'd!!!

This was for sale, please someone buy this for me!

Kinja'd!!!

Some (front)mid engined content.

That’s it for here, I don’t want to kill Kinja with an overload of Porsches. For the rest of the shots you can check this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

To close, One final shot of Jobjoris leaving the meet:

Kinja'd!!!

I had to hurry to the top of the parking structure, so I didn’t have my setting completely right for panning..

Awesome. And yes: I know that 3.2 ;-) And we need to do a Panning shoot trial!

Also...

I presume I was just going too slow...

Pictures came out amazing. I too did not realize we were looking at a 911R in the first place, which is why, at a certain point, I walked back LOL.

Thanks!

Yeah, the colour made it somehow low key for a 911R, nobody expects it to have a 911 GT3 RS colour.

From the depths of Kinja of course, haha

I (re)scheduled it, because it was quite quiet here, but on accident I scheduled it in the past...

That sounds like a ton of Porsche fun! And great pictures too!

Maybe a bit, but a slower shutter speed on my side would have helped too.

Thanks! It was really a lot of fun seeing the diversity. Too bad lots of people had already left due to the warm weather. As I’ve seen on other pictures that there also was an even more Singer-ish 911 present, but that was gone already when we got there.

Well, that’s the thing with a large concentration of air-cooled cars... Only so much cool air to share!

Kinja'd!!!1

Haha, yes, and due to all the air-cooled cars, there was no cool air left to cool the air-to-liquid-cooled humans.

Luckily most of the G-model cars were left non-backdated, don’t remember if there was a black one though.

But black does suit it quite well, though I’m still a huge fan of Jobjoris’ 3.2
with its contrasting white paint over the black Fuchs.

Yeah the black suits it well, but I think the black fuchs don’t do it justice. I think brushes aluminum would look better.
